Im not exactly sure how to best describe P & t’s wedding celebration except to say it was one of the most fun weddings i have ever had the privilege to be part of. P & T had their wedding ceremony the day before this event as a private gathering for close family and friends. However, they planned an elaborate party to celebrate their union the day after for the rest of their tribe. The evening started off with a beautiful cocktail reception at the Aldrich Art Museum. Guests were treated to live music, food and drinks while their wedding crew finished putting together the final details for their dinner to follow. Magical is the best way to describe the rest of the evening. Set against the scene of their private estate, the theme of the evening was a Midsummer Night. P & T spared no detail to enchant their guests – even hiring a performance troupe out of NYC to act like mischevious nymphs and elves running amuck amongst guests, a beautiful drag queen of the fairies who came into the reception on a hipline to keep the energy level of the celebration merry and fire breathers + dancers for a mid reception performance in the garden. Needless to say this wedding was outside of the box in the best way possible and it was a pleasure to capture such an amazing celebration of love.
